A STORY OF GREATNESS
Thank you for stopping by.
My name is Joshua Mucha Kimkung. I am 11 years old. I started hiking in 2018. Surprisingly, I took on the high-difficulty hills despite being only 9 years old. During my first hike, I felt so at ease, and excited, as we explored Le Satima in the Aberdare Range. I enjoy the serene landscapes and unpolluted trails mountains and hills offer.
I also do this to support a project. You see, I attend a public institution called Lang’ata West Primary School. I have 1506 schoolmates. Some of these children walk to school, and it is tiresome and unsafe. They have to wake up early, use public transport, and worry about their safety when crossing roads. For that reason, I thought that getting my school a bus would help so many of my schoolmates.
For that reason,
I climbed Mount Kenya in 2019. It was a memorable experience. Nonetheless, I did not reach my target for the school bus project. Therefore, I am doing it again this year. I hope to climb Mount Meru, Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro. To get to these three peaks, my team and I are training for the thrilling adventure. You can help too, through your donation to the School Bus Project. You can support this cause as an individual, or bring together your colleagues as a corporate body. I appreciate your support.
