My name is Joshua Mucha Kimkung. I am 11 years old and I have been going on long hikes and doing a lot of exercises while preparing to undertake a great feat: climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, Mt. Meru and Mt. Kenya. I will climb East Africa’s highest mountains from 1st to the 23rd of December 2020. It is something I know I will enjoy, but I am mainly doing it for a great and crucial cause – to help fund-raise for my school, Langata West Primary School, a public institution. Our school needs a school bus so that a good number of my more than 1500 schoolmates can get to school and home safely.
